KIRF Kidney Dialysis Center 2nd Anniversary
On 10th June, 2023 KIRF Kidney Dialysis Centre Jatlan has completed two years to providing Kidney Dialysis to the kidney patients free of charges. The ceremony was arranged by KIRF Management in Ali Marriage Hall Jabi. Mr. Zaheer Ud Din Qureshi Secretary Social Welfare Department Government Of Azad Jammun and Kashmir was chief guest and event was presided by Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga Chairman District Council Mirpur, Ch. Muhammad Ayoub retired deputy commissioner, Raja Fidda Hussain DHO, Dr. Muhammad Tahir President NGOs Council Mirpur Division, representatives of print and electronic media, representatives of NGOS, members of Civil Society, members of business community and other philanthropists attended the ceremony.
Before the proceedings of ceremony guests visited the KIRF Kidney Dialysis Centre and Community Hospital.
The event was started with the recitation of The Holy Quran with translation in urdu and Nahat of Our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Mr. M. D. Tahir performed as stage secretary. First all members of KIRF were introduced to participants. Then Mr. Mehmood Ahmed Raza briefed about the organisation, its objects and projects. He told to the participants that KIRF is providing free of cost education, skills to women, dialysis facility to patients and medical treatment to poor and deserving patients.
He also told to The Secretary Social Welfare Department about the difficulties being faced by NGOS. Further he told that management of KIRF is is grateful to all donors especially trustees of Paktrust London, Waltham Forest Islamic Association London, Al-Flah Trust, and Ilford Islamic Association London. He also thanked to participants.
Dr. Abdul Qadous Administrator briefed about the medical facilities and kidney dialysis facilities being provided to the community.
After briefing on KIRF shields were presented to honorable guests, Benefactors and best service providers.
Dr. Muhammad Tahir President NGOs Council Mirpur told the participants about first kidney dialysis centre in Azad Kashmir and his role in facilitating other centers. Raja Fidda Hussain DHO congratulated the management of KIRF on the services being provided to the patients and he also asked for the awareness about precautionary measures against different diseases especially about diabetes and blood pressure. He advised that a person should walk at least thirty minutes daily.
Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga Chairman District Council Mirpur appreciated the services being provided by KIRF and he promised to cooperate with the organisation in every field.
Mr. Zaheer Ud Din Qureshi Secretary Social Welfare Department also appreciated the efforts of the management of KIRF to provide free facilities in different sectors to the poor and unprivileged community residing in rural and far-flung areas of Azad Kashmir. He acknowledged that NGOS are helping the government in different fields. He also appreciated the benefactors and philanthropists for their donations to run the projects. He promised to help NGOS to facilitate and to solve their problems.
At last Dr. Abdul Ghafar President KIRF thanked all guests and Management Ali Marriage Hall who provided their services without any cost. Finally lunch was Served to guests.
