In the field of health, KIRF has been operating “KIRF Community Hospital Jatlan ” since 2005. The hospital is located on the bank of Canal Upper Jhelum, Jatlan, District Mirpur. Around the radius of 20 kilometers of the hospital there is no such facility. The hospital provides medical facilities to the residents of Jatlan and surrounding areas which includes District Bhimber Azad Kashmir, District Gujrat and District Jhelum of Punjab Pakistan. It is 70 bedded Hospital that provides facilities for Emergency, OPD, Gynae/Obstet., Surgical, General Medicine, Pediatric, X-ray Laboratory, Ultrasound, ECG, ENT, Orthopedics and First aid to Trauma patients The hospital provides services around the clock, free of charges to poor people and or subsidized rates to general public. Deserving families have been issued Zakat Fund (ZF) cards to avail medical treatment free of charges. During the year 2021-22, 69 new ZF cards have been issued to deserving families & 72279 patients have been provided different medical facilities.
