About Us
Kashmir International Relief Fund (KIRF) is a non-profit and non-governmental charitable organisation registered with Azad Jammu & Kashmir Council Islamabad under registration number 242/2005. After 13th constitutional amendment KIRF has been registered by the Directorate of Social Welfare Govt. of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Muzaffarabad vide Registration No. DSW/NGO/GOVT(PROV)67/2022 dated 05-04-2022. It has been working in Azad Kashmir since 1992 with the objective to uplift the poor and unprivileged segment of the society, especially rural and far-flung areas of the state by providing health, education and skills to the women.
One of the objectives of KIRF is to provide necessary emergency relief to the affected people in case of natural disasters especially in times of floods and earthquakes. In the past KIRF has played a considerable role in assisting thousands of people in dire need of emergency for food, clean water, shelters and medical treatment, particularly after the devastation caused by the earthquake of 8th October 2005. Similarly, the same services were provided after the destruction caused by the earthquake of 24th, September, 2019. Hundreds of precious lives were saved by providing emergenc treatment to the victims in KIRF Community Hospital Jatlan. Despite medical treatment, tents, foo items and clean drinking water were provided to the families of victims on an immediate basi Moreover 88 effected families were financially assisted @ Rs. 50,000/- to each family for the rehabilitation with the corporation of Waltham Forest Islamic Association London and PakTr London.
KIRF has also assisted 174 families financially @ Rs.5000/- to each family affected COVID-19 with the co-oporation of PakTrust London.
Presently, besides providing health facilities free of cost to the very needy and poor segme society in the rural area through KIRF Community Hospital Jatlan, KIRF has established Ki Dialysis Centre at Jatlan patients of renal failure are being provided facility of dialysis free of charges since 10th June 2021.

Aims & Objectives
- To provide humanitarian aid and assistance to the poor and needy people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in rural and far-flung areas.
- To promote healthcare services, including provision of medical treatment, healthcare facilities, and health education.
- To provide emergency relief and support to victims of natural disasters, conflicts, and other crises.
- To promote education and vocational training, particularly for women and children, to empower them and enhance their socio-economic status.
- To support livelihood initiatives and provide economic opportunities to marginalized communities.
- To work towards the empowerment of women and girls, and to promote their participation in decision-making processes.
- To collaborate with local and international organizations, governments, and stakeholders to achieve its objectives.
